BeanSafe protects your beans from the four coffee-destroyers: air, moisture, heat and light.
Before you brew a cup of coffee, consider how to store your beans. Coffee-lovers spend considerable time, energy and money trying to brew the best possible coffee at home, but wind up frustrated in their efforts. The problem is not in the quality of beans or the coffee-preparation method. The biggest barrier to great coffee is how coffee beans are stored. Few coffee-lovers grasp this key fact, but it’s really no secret. Once roasted, coffee beans must be stored properly to preserve the fresh taste of the bean. Air, moisture, heat and light are the biggest enemies of coffee freshness. Coffee in a refrigerator or freezer can even pick up odors and moisture from its surroundings. This is not the road to coffee freshness. Brown paper bags are not ideal. A better storage method prevents air, moisture, heat or light from entering.
How Does BeanSafe® Work?
BeanSafe is designed with a patent-pending one-way pressure release valve, which has a silicone membrane and a hidden round glass ball. Together, this permits CO2 to be released when the air pressure inside the container reaches a sufficient level. At the same time, the one-way valve does not permit air and gases to enter the container. The BeanSafe pressure release valve never requires cleaning, maintenance or replacement. It opens and closes by itself. You never need to touch it. Please see our FAQs.Thank you and enjoy your BeanSafe!
